this is place has the best udon ive ever had, i get the beef udon with a marinated egg, my friends dont like it here though. but this review is not about their food. its about their bathroom. that place is pure magic. you enter and you are transported to a whole other dimension. the lighting, low lit, ambient and cozy. the decor feels like you are at home. and the main attraction the toilet, oh god the toilet. it has heated seats. when you sit on that toilet it feels like a hug. and after you're done, you get washed water that sends blessings to you in the most intimate way. from the bede. which they also have. with the heated seats. when i enter that bathroom i literally hear birdsongs and running water. i wish i never had to leave. but yeah the udon is pretty good too.

The food was great! My wife and I came in to try our RanKen for the first time. We both got the tonkotsu ramen. I will note that their chili sauce is house made and VERY spicy. If you're thinking of getting the chili sauce, get it on the side. Other than that Ms. Lee (the owner I believe) was very welcoming and such a gracious host. We will back back!

The ramen was delicious and Lee the owner is so kind and welcoming. She treats you as if you’re coming into her home. Everything is very flavorful and full of spices. Definitely coming back!

The food was really good and the atmosphere was very cozy! Li, the owner, was incredibly nice and welcoming! The soups and tea were perfectly hot for this cold, rainy day, and service was so fast! We will definitely be back again!

The vegan miso ramen is the best veg ramen I’ve had in the six years since I stopped eating meat! It has a richness, spice, and robust flavor that not many vegetarian ramens achieve.

I got take-out. I was initially bothered because the ramen seemed to be in one bowl. Upon opening, the components are separate from the broth. This is the most innovative packaging I've seen for ramen! The bowl seems to be spill proof or something because there is a seal on it. Great portion size. The extra portion of chashu I ordered was a good size for the upcharge. Whoever cooked this knew what they were doing. Chashu was not fatty. It was well seasoned. Every component was delicious. The broth could be a little more rich but was seasoned nicely and the sesame doesn't overpower at all like I've had at other places. Everything was nicely balanced. I've never had bamboo shoots like this, it was so yummy. Jammy egg is to die for. I've never had cabbage in ramen and it was texturally pleasant. All components had a purpose and were prepared well. The hostess was very kind. I was in and out in less than 30 seconds. I just moved here and I have not been impressed with the food at all. This place is great. Please give it a try. I will be back!

This is a favorite dinner destination for my family and I when we are in the Kentlands, the food is consistently delicious and the staff is always nothing but kind. The atmosphere is cozy and clean, and I love the level of variety and customization available when you order. The hand made drinks are also good (and always worth the slightly longer wait on busier nights) and I genuinely have no complaints. Authentic, flavorful, and always a lovely time.
